Cardiovascular System
The cardiovascular system is a transportation system that delivers blood, nutrients, ions, gases and heat throughout our bodies. When participating in exercise our cardiovascular system pumps oxygen to the parts of our bodies that we are using, it also moves lactic acid out of your limbs, the lactic acid chemical is the one in which we feel a burning situation when exercising hard. This system also distributes the meals we eat around our bodies which feeds our bones, nerves, organs and the tissue in our body. On cold days our cardiovascular system transports heat from our core around our bodies to keep us warm.
